Superscan

it's actually a 0 star rating, the receptionist thinks she knows better than the Doctors, extremely rude receptionist who refused to make an appointment for me just because it was near closing time. I asked for her name so I can lodge complaint to their head office and she got extremely aggressive. When I told her I am going to write a google review she even go more aggressive. Disgusting service by your receptionist

I had my MRI scan at this clinic recently and as claustrophobic, I was so anxious, nervous, sweating, name all of it before the scan. I told the receptionist that I was extremely nervous and she reassured me that it will go quick. I then told the lady in the MRI room that I was scared and she responded with warmth and understanding! I was teary eyed going in the tunnel but I wore a "helmet" with a mirror on it and it looked like I am looking at my feet and could see the MRI lady across. The lady kept asking through gestures if I was okay and she was giving me smiles during the scan. She was very reassuring and almost feels like my mum was there with me to get through this scary day! I highly recommend the staff they were all so lovely. As I finished, the ladies at the reception asked if I was fine and they were just so accommodating and warm. Highly recommend!

I have had a number of bad experiences here. The first was when I needed a knee x-ray and it had to be redone a number of times as the radiographer didn't appear to know what she was doing. It looked as though she was a trainee under supervision. The same thing happened sometime later when I needed a CAT scan. There were 2 operators performing the procedure, and the one actually doing the scan appeared to be under supervision. The dye was injected into me and the scan completed. Then I was immediately told that for some unknown reason the scan needed to be done again, and had a 2nd lot of dye injected and a 2nd CAT scan completed. Afterwards I was left alone in the corridor for about 20 minutes with the canular still in my arm, and it was bleeding with blood dripping down my arm. Overall extremely dissatisfied, particularly having been unnecessarily exposed to 2 doses of CAT scan radiation. It is only recommended by my specialist to have 1 CAT scan every 5 to 10 years because of the damaging radiation. Since my last experience happened I swore I would never return here, and never have.

We visited Superscan for my mother’s chest xray last Saturday. The lady at reception was great and had attention to details. She picked up a wrong piece of personal info on my mother’s referral and fixed it. The technician, Karen was amazing. She had a calm and friendly tone of voice while doing the xray and my mother was very happy. Thank you

Writing as a partner to the person who had his scans here today 24 May 2023. He has given me approval to add 5 stars to this review, citing the people and their care and kindness. From the start of the day, to the end, there were smiles and helpful conversations. My husband also said that those helping him with the various procedures, he has two separate visits and tests, were highly professional and kind in their manner.
